Create your TroopBook account and set up your troop.

Creating Your Account

Getting started with TroopBook is quick and easy:

  1. Visit TroopBook: Navigate to the TroopBook Dashboard which will prompt you to sign in or create an account
  2. Sign Up: Click "Sign Up" if you're new to TroopBook
  3. Choose Your Method:
    • Email & Password: Enter your email address and create a secure password
    • Google Sign-In: Use your existing Google account for quick access
    • Apple Sign-In: Sign in with your Apple ID for secure authentication

Setting Up Your Organization

After creating your account, you'll be guided through setting up your troop:

  1. Create Organization: Give your scout organization a name (e.g., "Pack 807", "Troop 123")
  2. Add Units: Create units within your organization (dens, patrols, etc.)
  3. Add Members:
    • Import existing roster: We support importing from Cub Scout and Boy Scout systems
    • Invite members: Send email invitations to scouts and adult leaders
    • Add manually: Enter member information directly
  4. Set Roles: Assign appropriate roles to each member (scout, parent, leader)

User Types

TroopBook supports two primary user types:

  • Adult: For parents, troop leaders, committee members, and other adults
  • Youth: For scout members participating in the program

Choose the appropriate type during signup to ensure proper access and features.
