Create your TroopBook account and set up your troop.
Creating Your Account
Getting started with TroopBook is quick and easy:
- Visit TroopBook: Navigate to the TroopBook Dashboard which will prompt you to sign in or create an account
- Sign Up: Click "Sign Up" if you're new to TroopBook
- Choose Your Method:
- Email & Password: Enter your email address and create a secure password
- Google Sign-In: Use your existing Google account for quick access
- Apple Sign-In: Sign in with your Apple ID for secure authentication
Setting Up Your Organization
After creating your account, you'll be guided through setting up your troop:
- Create Organization: Give your scout organization a name (e.g., "Pack 807", "Troop 123")
- Add Units: Create units within your organization (dens, patrols, etc.)
- Add Members:
- Import existing roster: We support importing from Cub Scout and Boy Scout systems
- Invite members: Send email invitations to scouts and adult leaders
- Add manually: Enter member information directly
- Set Roles: Assign appropriate roles to each member (scout, parent, leader)
User Types
TroopBook supports two primary user types:
- Adult: For parents, troop leaders, committee members, and other adults
- Youth: For scout members participating in the program
Choose the appropriate type during signup to ensure proper access and features.
