1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TroopBook ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TroopBook provides software-as-a-service tools for youth program coordination, communication, and record keeping. We may update or modify features at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security incidents.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Upload malicious code or interfere with the integrity of the Service.
Access or attempt to access other user accounts without permission.

We may monitor usage to ensure compliance and protect the Service.

You retain all rights to the data, documents, and other materials you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant TroopBook a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display Customer Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that Customer Content is accurate and lawful.

7. Payment & Subscription Terms

Paid features may be subject to subscription fees. All fees are due in advance unless otherwise specified. We may suspend or cancel access to the Service for unpaid amounts. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

TroopBook and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including software, trademarks, logos, and related intellectual property. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party products. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms. TroopBook is not responsible for third-party services.

10. Availability & Support

We strive to maintain reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, updates, and external factors may affect availability. Support resources and response times may vary.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued use poses risk to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain Customer Content as required by law or to comply with legal obligations.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, TroopBook disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TroopBook and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service. TroopBook's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
